SiVance Trifluoropropyldimethylchlorosilane (CAS No. 1481-41-0) is a fluoroalkyl silane.

Trifluoropropyldimethylchlorosilane has been used in the production of pressure sensitive adhesives, fluorosilicone silicone gums and fluorosilicone oils. The Trifluoropropyl group has a steric requirement similar to the propyl group but has a vastly different electronic effect on silicon. Fluorine atoms have a very strong electron withdrawing effect.
