Guidelines for use
UltraGuard would be used in extruded films that have at least one layer based on HDPE or LLDPE, with a typical loading of 1.5 to 3% on certain layers. UltraGuard also can be easily used in existing machinery without the need for further capital investment in equipment or tooling. We see many potential market segments that may benefit from this technology, to extend beyond just flexible packaging. Other potential uses include in items such as caulk tubes, fitments and spouts, and pharmaceutical bottles – since these demand the contents be protected from unwanted exposure to oxygen or moisture.
