Silicone Resins MDQV-1 MQ Vinyl Resin in Xylenes

SiVance MDQV-1 MQ Vinyl Resin in Xylenes (CAS No. 68584-83-8) has a structure of a silica core bearing (MeViSiO)x branches terminated by [(CH3)3SiO1/2] end blocking groups. MDQV-1 is supplied as a 50% resin solution in xylenes.

MDQV-1 is primarily used as a crosslinking and toughening agent in addition cure silicone elastomers. This is a relatively slow reacting resin that may also be used in the making of silicone foam material.
