Chlorosilanes Hexyltrichlorosilane

SiVance Hexyltrichlorosilane (CAS No. 928-65-4) is an alkyl silane.

Hexyltrichlorosilane is used as a hydrophobing agent for treating inorganic particles and surfaces. Such treated materials then have good compatibility with most organic polymers. Hexyltrichlorosilane can also be used in the surface treatment of minerals and inorganic surfaces and to create water repellent surfaces.
