Siloxanes DMH-5A

SiVance DMH-5A (CAS No. 68037-59-2) is a hydride functional silicone fluid. The hydrides are pendant groups.

DMH-5A is primarily used as a crosslinking agent in addition cure silicone elastomers to increase hardness, tear strength, and cure speed. DMH-5A can also be used as a reactive intermediate to make organo-modified silicones via hydrosilations. Functional groups normally attached in this way include allyl terminated polyethylene or polypropylene glycols, amines, and epoxies.
