Siloxanes DH-6, Hydride Terminated Sil Fluid

SiVance DH-6 (CAS No. 70900-21-9) is a hydride terminated silicone fluid. It may also be referred to as MHD10MH.

DH-6 is primarily used as a chain extender in addition cure silicone elastomers. The product is used in conjunction with crosslinking hydrides to increase elongation and tear strength and lower durometer. DH-6 can also be used as a reactive intermediate to make ABA organo-modified silicones via hydrosilations. Functional groups normally attached in this way include allyl terminated polyethylene or polypropylene glycols, amines, and epoxies.
