Angie Navia has worked for Milliken for almost two years, based in Belgium. As a Customer Service Representative in Supply Chain, Plastic Additives she supports customers across Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Russia.

Tell us about your role at Milliken?
"As a Customer Service Representative in Plastic Additives my role is to guide our leads from the moment customers are interested in our products until they physically receive our additives. This involves making offers, sending samples and processing orders as well as solving logistical challenges with our Shipping Team."

What do you like most about your job, what excites you?
"The global nature of my customer portfolio excites me the most. I speak five languages, and this gives me a chance to use them! One moment I might be speaking with our Spanish customers and the minute after I could be discussing matters with customers from the United Arab Emirates or Russia. I love building new relationships around the globe and getting to know different cultures and ways of doing business, which fascinates me."

What is your favorite Milliken Chemical memory?
"I love our team building activities organized by our Fun Team. It's a great opportunity to get to know colleagues from other teams and product lines. Even in COVID times our Fun Team has organized online activities allowing us to get back in touch like we used to. We have enjoyed virtual team games and raised a glass during our virtual happy hour at the end of the day."

What’s special about Milliken Chemical?
"I think Milliken has an amazing culture with values such as integrity and diversity. Milliken supports involvement and provides us with different ways to get together for professional and personal development activities. For instance, this year my team received an Impact Award for excellent performance which I am personally very proud of. We are like a big family!"
