Tell us about your role at Milliken?
"In my current position I work on building customer relationships by leveraging our unique and state of the art technical expertise, either locally or from our global community, to showcase our product differentiation and ultimately position Milliken as a top-of-mind solution provider. This involves designing strategies and tactics on go-to-market and roll out packages, through customer segmentation and value creation analysis."

What do you like most about your job, what excites you?
"I love the interaction with people and the opportunity to be curious. The fact that our products not only play a crucial role in our everyday lives and change them for good fills me with pride. Whilst it is true that we provide solutions to our industry customers our products are ultimately used by people in everyday life and that is astonishing."

What is your favorite Milliken Chemical memory?
"On my very first day at Milliken, I was invited to participate in a Division Sales Meeting at the Roger Milliken Center, involving the entire team from Latin America and North America. Although daunting at first, the level of warmth and respect that was shown by all to me made that moment very special, and I knew right way I was in the right place. Since that very first moment I have felt part of the team and part of a multi-cultural global community."

What’s special about Milliken Chemical?
"Definitely the people. The environment created at Milliken is unique and truly a driving force for our personal and professional success. The sense of being an important part of something bigger generates enthusiasm and energy."

What’s one piece of advice you have for someone looking for a job or internship at Milliken?
"Be curious. Be engaged. Be proud of your achievements but be willing to welcome and embrace change. “Pivotal” is a word you will hear a lot inside Milliken. It is a fast paced company with ambitious goals and they can only be achieved by the sum of the efforts of everyone in the company. It all depends on each of us, so be ready to make the most of it."
