“Milliken is a company that is ahead of its time”

Tell us a bit about your role at Milliken, what does it involve?
"I work on the application and technical evaluation of Milliken’s portfolio in consumer products goods in order to achieve our customers’ needs. More specifically I apply and run stability and performance tests of our colorants, whitening agents and other specialties in home and laundry care products. Currently, I’m also leading internal initiatives that aim to meet the specific needs of the Latin America region."
What do you like most about your position?
"At Milliken I love that I’m always working on a variety of different projects that put me in contact with lots of parts of the company and different colleagues. The idea of being creative and making connections to find the best solutions is something that really excites me."
What’s is your favourite Milliken memory?
"My first face-to-face Regional Meeting is my favourite Milliken memory. After years of severe pandemic restrictions I finally had the opportunity to meet people I had only met virtually. It was a great opportunity to more deeply understand Milliken’s business, to have technical discussions and to establish relationships."

"Milliken is a place where people matter. It’s easy to notice that the company values an inclusive workplace where all associates can share ideas and together create great solutions for the business."
What’s one piece of advice you have for someone looking for a job or internship at Milliken?
"Be open-minded. Milliken is a company that is ahead of its time and is always looking to the future. To be aligned with this it’s important to be a person who is open to listening to people, to considering new ideas and seeing challenges from different perspectives."
