Tell us about your role at Milliken, what does it involve?
"I am an account manager, developing and maintaining relationships with key end users, firstly to help promote the products of clients which use Milliken’s nucleating agents and also to listen to the voice of the end user market to understand their pain points and to make sure we are meeting their requirements."
What is one of the key projects you are currently working on?
"I have just spent three months developing contacts with the top five biggest end users in five provinces in China, outlining to them total market scale and building strong relationships with at least three key accounts in every province, converting them to be Milliken supporters and customers."
What do you like most about your position? What excites you about it?
"I am very excited to be a bridge, bringing Milliken’s value to the market. I find the pain points and requirements of our diverse customers the most interesting part of my position because it’s my job to help solve these, which I find very rewarding."
What’s is your favorite Milliken memory?
"When I first joined Milliken, I spent two weeks undertaking official technical training in the laboratory. I was surrounded by Milliken products and learned so much. Looking back this is always a great memory."
What’s special about Milliken? What do you like about the company?
"When I think about Milliken, the first word that comes to mind is ‘creative’ and I love this about the company. For me, it’s the biggest differentiator with our competitors – there is a creative culture that runs through every employee in every corner of Milliken. It’s very inspiring and helps foster a very ‘can do’ environment. Personally, I find my role as Downstream Account Manager an incredibly creative sales strategy!"
